Plan budget, time, and breaks for using 87BD

Write down the spending limit, end time, and reasons for stopping before use. Take a break if any one of the limits is reached and do not increase the limit in that session.

Write a separate limit from Essential Expense

Write down the spending limit, end time, and reasons for stopping before use. Consider only the amount that will not affect daily life after excluding Rent, Food, Medical, Education, Debt, and Emergency Saving as Entertainment Budget.

Read the Activation and Removal Rule if Deposit Limit or another Control Account is visible. There must be such a Tool in 87BD—this Site does not claim that. Even without a Tool, you can use your Bank/MFS Limit, Reminder, and Trusted Person's assistance.

Set the limit first and take a break when the time comes.

Determine Session End Time and Stop Point

Before starting, write down Date, Start Time, End Time, Session Budget, and Stop Reason. Stop when End Time arrives even if the Budget is not finished. Use Alarm or Calendar Reminder and stay away from the Screen during breaks.

Do not let End Time depend on Win or Loss. The decision of “One more Round” can change repeatedly. If the Stop Point is written down, it becomes easier to implement the previously made decision instead of acting on momentary emotions.

Write Warning Signal honestly to yourself

  • Have you increased Budget or Session Time compared to before?
  • Have you added a new Amount to recover Loss?
  • Have you hidden expenses or borrowed?
  • Has sleep, work, study, or relationships been affected?
  • Have you repeatedly broken the decision to stop?
  • Have you used time during anger, stress, or drinking?

Take even one Signal seriously. If there are multiple Signals, consider a long Break, removing Saved Payment Method, and assistance from Trusted Person. This Site does not provide Medical Diagnosis.

Do not change decisions in the same Session when Loss Chase begins

Stop increasing Amount or Speed to recover Loss. Take at least a 24-hour break, review Transaction History, and calculate if Essential Expense has been touched. Do not use Borrowing, Credit, or others' Money.

Write down why you wanted to return after the break, what the Trigger was, and which Barrier worked. If there is Financial Pressure, focus on solving Budget issues instead of Entertainment Activity.

If you see Limit, Timeout, or Self-exclusion

Read the Control's Name, Duration, Effective Time, Cooling-off Period, and Removal Condition. Do not assume that a Button will work immediately or easily just by seeing it. Save Activation Confirmation.

If there is no Account Tool, use Device Reminder, Website Block, Payment Limit, and written Plan with Trusted Person. Do not use a new Account or another identity to bypass any Limit.

Review Trigger and Barrier before returning

Write down the reason for the Break, Length, Financial Impact, and future Stop Rule. Do not return to the old Budget on the first day. Do not start a new Session during Stress, Anger, Sleep Loss, or Financial Problem.

If you cannot maintain Control yourself, seek appropriate Professional Help or a Trusted Person for the local situation. Use local emergency assistance in case of urgent mental or financial crises.

Five questions about Responsible Use

Where should I determine the Budget from?

After excluding Essential Expense and Saving, from the separate Entertainment Amount.

Time is up but is there still Budget left?

Stop. The one that ends first between Budget and Time is the Stop Point.

What is Loss Chase?

To quickly recover Loss, try increasing Amount, Speed, or Risk. Then take at least a 24-hour break.

Is there a Control Tool available at 87BD?

Not sure. If visible in Account, read Name, Duration, and Removal Rule.

How will I return after the break?

Write down Trigger and Barrier and use a small, predetermined Limit; do not return if there is Pressure.

Write a limit today

Write down the financial and time limits before starting to use. Take a break if there is a need to compensate for pressure or loss.
